Engine Installation

Here is the engine as of 8 AM October 20. You can really see what the Corvette valve covers look like....They look nice. You can also see the plugs in the exhaust manifolds. They take that place of the tacky AIR injection pipes.

This is the newly cleaned and painted engine bay. You really can't tell from the photos but the frame has been por-15'd and the firewall has been repainted maroon.

Its time to get this puppy in. This was right before we lowered it into the engine bay.

This is when we were fighting with the dam motor mounts and tranny bellhousing. It seemed that nothing wanted to line up. It took us about 2 hours to get the engine aligned to the mounts and tranny.

Here is the motor as of 5 PM. A lot has been connected but there is much much more to be done.

Doesn't that engine look nice? How can you tell, after you put all those wires and hoses on, you can barely tell there is a engine in there. But it does look about 100 times better than before.

See look, I actually am doing some work. I am dirty, tired and aggravated, but hey, it was fun.
